We recommend that you visit an authorized retailer of Genesis Branded products to replace air cleaner filter. Replace the air cleaner filter according to the Maintenance Schedule.
If the vehicle is operated in extremely dusty or sandy areas, replace the air cleaner filter more often than the usual recommended intervals (Refer to the "Maintenance under severe usage conditions (except Europe, but including Russia)" or "Maintenance under severe usage conditions (for Europe)" section in this chapter).
-
Do not drive with the air cleaner filter removed. This may result in excessive engine wear.
-
When removing the air cleaner filter, be careful that dust or dirt does not enter the air intake. It may cause damage.
-
We recommend that you use Genesis genuine parts or the equivalent specified for your vehicle. Use of non-genuine parts may damage the air flow sensor.
