Never add any additives to the engine oil. Engine oil additives can change the properties of engine oil and may cause serious engine failure.
If TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline is not available, one bottle of additive is recommended. Additives are available from your authorized retailer of Genesis Branded products along with information on how to use them. Do not mix other additives.
The drive belt should be replaced when cracks occur or tension is reduced.
Inspect for excessive valve noise and/or engine vibration and adjust if necessary. Have an authorized retailer of Genesis Branded products perform the operation.
Use only the specified automatic transmission fluid. (Refer to the "Recommended lubricants and capacities" section in chapter 2 or the label in the engine compartment.)
Front and rear differential oil should be changed anytime the front or rear differential has been submerged in water.
When replacing differential oil with LSD (Limited Slip Differential), use only specified LSD oil.
Fuel filter & Fuel tank air filter are considered to be maintenance free but periodic inspection is recommended for this maintenance schedule depends on fuel quality. If there are some important safety matters like fuel flow restriction, surging, loss of power, hard starting problem, etc. replace the fuel filter immediately regardless of maintenance schedule and consult an authorized retailer of Genesis Branded products for details.
